Cushions
A few well-placed scatter cushions can transform a seating area. Whether pleasingly co-ordinated, boldly mismatched, piped, pom-pom trimmed, zip fastened, button fastened, square, rectangular or round, the possibilities are endless. We also make boxed cushions for window seats and benches. We are able to supply new foam cut to size if required.
Our studio is always well stocked with a wonderfully colourful array of cushions ready to purchase and take home.
Curtains
There are so many options to choose from including headings and linings. Whatever your preference, all our curtains are handmade to ensure the best possible finish.
Options Include:
Standard Lining: Available in a variety of colours but most commonly an off-white or light cream cotton mix lining is used. Lining curtains not only improves their overall appearance but will help offer some protection to your curtain fabric from sun damage.
Interlining – Interlining is sewn as a middle layer between the curtain fabric and lining. It can be used for both practical and aesthetic reasons. Very well suited to older, single glazed properties and great for door curtains. Interlining can also greatly enhance the overall appearance of your curtains, particularly thinner fabrics and improve how they hang creating a more luxurious finish.
Blackout Lining – Ideal for bedrooms and nurseries to primarily reduce unwanted light coming in through windows. Blackout lining has the additional benefit of protecting fabrics from long term sun damage and it also acts to reduce heat loss from a room due to its compostion.
Pencil Pleat, Cottage Pleat, Pinch Pleat and Eyelet style headings.
Roman Blinds
Roman blinds are an attractive alternative to curtains using less fabric and are easily blackout lined for bedrooms. Perfect for small windows and also worth considering if your window lacks clearance either side to draw curtains open. A simple blind can be enhanced with trims and borders for more impact and to incorporate an existing colour scheme.
Our stab stitched roman blinds are all hand finished ensuring there are no visible stitch marks on the front of the blind. Our Roman blinds are interlined as standard. A variety of head-rail systems are available which can be discussed but our blinds are usually supplied with a chain operated cassette head-rail to meet all current child safety regulations. Contrasting borders and trims can add an extra finishing touch for a truly bespoke design.
Roller Blinds
Roller blinds offer yet another type of window treatment. As oppose to the Roman variety the fabric is a flat sheet which, as the name suggests, wraps around an aluminium roller and is operated by a chain system. These compact blinds work particularly well in kitchens and bathrooms and also conservatories as a way to reduce heat in the summer. Almost any fabric that we have on display in our studio can be transformed into a roller blind. We also offer a comprehensive and very popular range of sheer roller blinds which offer a stylish and modern alternative to net curtains. Pop in to see our display roller blinds and discuss your projects.

Pelmets
Pelmets can be used independently of other window dressings to enhance small windows. More commonly they are used in conjunction with blinds and curtains to conceal fixtures and fittings. They can be shaped and finished with a variety of trimmings.
Lampshades
Finding the perfect lampshade to suit your colour scheme can sometimes be difficult. We can make lampshades in a wide variety of fabrics and sizes. An ideal way to bring your interior scheme together. As with our cushions, we always have a number of shades on display in our studio for sale. The designs are always changing, so please visit our studio or call us to see which sizes and fabrics are currently available. We offer a wide variety of silks in the most exquisite and vibrant colours often used to make or recover tailored lampshades.
